You've got to aim to lose

A lot of young leaders will make the mistake of trying to control everything instead of focusing on leading towards key results.  One can't make the mistake of thinking that success is a product of perfection because it is a product of lazer sharp focus and work.  If you are leading a team have you stopped to ask yourself, "Does everyone know not only where the bullseye is but exactly how to hit it?"  If you are control freak asking your team to try to hit everything the board becomes massive but the bullseye stays the same.

Great leaders identify the non-essentials and aim to lose, they don't get distracted by it if it's not the bullseye.
