What makes your blog post stick out more than other bloggers posts?
It's an important question you need to ask yourself. If a potential reader is scrolling through their Twitter feed what makes them click on your post? More than likely it comes down to your title or image. But as a blogger you need to know we process visual information so much faster than writing.
Check out this great article posted on the Social Media Examiner. Our brains process visuals 60,000 times faster! So, if you want to grow your blog following or you want more people to know what's happening in your story as a business or organization the images you use are pretty damn important. And you can tell a compelling story or have a strong call to action by adding text to your images.
How do you do this as a beginning blogger?
Well, for quite a while the trend was set by blogs making significant revenue to pay for creative common images.
