One leader values accomplishment, recognition, and reward.Another leader values relationship, loyalty, and depth.
One leader will need the next challenge to prove herself. The other leader will need the next challenge to reward someone else.
When the two leaders get into a turf war the first leader will fight to save title. The other leader will fight to protect the team.
The first leader will kill to win because she fears loss of identity more than anything else. The other leader will give up the fight so that others don't have to get bruised.
Ultimately, both leaders lose because the first leader views service as tasks and the other views service as presence. Yet, neither could see the value in each others service.
Don't be involved in wasted wars.
