Nothing in common

"How do you lead people you have nothing in common with?"

Can this question be true?  Every working relationship has a common denominator: THE WORK!  Every person brings their personality to a team and they might be different than yours.  Remind yourself to value the work, the calling, or the goal and it will help you value the people doing the work.  A leader who is confident in their own work handles a team with mixed personalities better than a leader who needs the praise of the same team.  If you're leading a shaky team, do good work.
