Don't be you on social media

If you're anything like me you spend your day attempting to become the person you want to be.  But then there is the gap between who I am and who I want to be.  And that's okay, this gap is my growth area.  If we're not growing then we are regressing and no one wants to live a story moving backwards.  But this difference causes a dilemma for us when we have followers and friends on social media.   Which person do you present to this audience: the real you or the person you're wanting to become?  Which you do you project?

We have an alternative to this quandary.   Stop using social media to be known and lean into the exponential opportunity to serve others and to learn.  What you'll discover by doing this is the gap between who you are and who you want to become will shrink because you'll personally grow through both serving and learning.  There is no greater leadership than servant leadership, it's the ultimate growth vehicle.
